Global Benefits Program Manager - Fully Remote

Warsaw, Poland
Contracted
Experienced

Do you thrive on the challenge of launching a complex benefits program in a country you may have never worked in before?

Are you a "follow the money" project manager who enjoys the intersection of HR, Finance, and Payroll?

Great! Please read on as we have the job for you.

Our client has a high-velocity global team managing the "life cycle" of their employees across the world. From setting up new entities in Singapore to navigating the complexities of US medical benefits, the mission is to provide world-class support while staying lean. As they grow, we need a Project Management powerhouse to step in and take full ownership of our most critical benefits programs.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines. We are looking for an Operator, someone who can jump into a new market, partner with brokers, audit the "money flow" between systems, and ensure our employees have a seamless experience. Your work will directly free up our team to innovate, meaning your impact will be felt from day one.

This is a fully remote B2B contract opportunity within Poland, offering you the freedom and flexibility you deserve.
Daily Rate - depending on your knowledge and experience, 800-1000 PLN + VAT

Your tasks will include:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of benefits rollouts in new and existing entities (e.g., setting up the Central Provident Fund in Singapore or pension plans in the UK).
  • Adapt global policies to local statutory requirements, specifically focusing on complex areas like parental leave, retirement planning, and medical benefits.
  • Analyze local statutory provisions and market trends to ensure our "on-top" benefits remain competitive and compliant in diverse regions.
  • Drive the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for new benefit vendors, including analyzing offers, negotiating terms, and managing the selection committee.
  • Oversee the technical and administrative transition to new vendors, ensuring smooth data integrations and enrollment flows.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for global brokers to ensure high service standards and proactive renewals.
  • Manage the enrollment cycle for various global plans, implementing rigorous audit processes to ensure data integrity between HR systems and payroll vendors.
  • Manage benefits budgets, tracking spend against projections and understanding the "money flow" of statutory versus company-funded programs.
  • Develop comprehensive communication plans to educate employees on new benefits, ensuring clarity and high adoption rates during periods of change.
  • Maintain and improve the "strong process documentation" already in place, ensuring that as new entities open, the blueprint for benefits is scalable.
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure benefits compliance and seamless payroll execution across different tax jurisdictions.

To be a good fit for the Global Benefits Program Manager role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience leading complex, multi-country HR or Benefits projects from conception to "go-live." You should be comfortable managing a roadmap with moving deadlines.
  • Experience running RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, analyzing vendor offers, and managing third-party providers to ensure high service delivery.
  • While you don’t need to be an expert in every country, you must have experience with statutory benefits, pension plans, or medical insurance in at least one major market (US, UK, or EU).
  • Strong comfort level with budget management and understanding how benefits data impacts payroll and company costs. You should be able to "follow the money."
  • Experience working with a Tier 1 HRIS (ideally Workday) for reporting, data auditing, and enrollment management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must for auditing and data analysis. Familiarity with Atlassian (Confluence) for process documentation is a plus.
  • Ability to create clear, engaging employee communications and documentation for new benefit rollouts.
  • A foundational understanding of how compliance and data privacy (GDPR) impact benefits administration.
  • Nice to have experience with Process Improvement or a basic understanding of Power Automate, even if you aren't the one building the flows, knowing what is possible helps us align with the team's automation goals.

We don't expect you to be an expert in every country's labor law on day one. We are looking for a world-class Project Manager who knows how to navigate vendor landscapes, manage budgets, and figure out the specifics of a new market with curiosity and rigor.
