For our client we are currently looking for a skilled Financial Accounting Analyst to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. You will join a company that is expanding their European presence and growing the team in Poland

Reporting to the European Business & Financial Operations Manager you will be responsible for the General Ledger, reconciliations, AP and AR duties and ensuring that all records and data are accurate.

You will join a growing team in the Warsaw office where you will have the opportunity to learn, work with autonomy and guide the team with your expertise. 

 

Your tasks will include:

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries for prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and other general ledger areas.
  • Oversee and manage inventory records to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and manage cash flow statements as required or requested.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy, including stock, debtors, creditors, and bank accounts.
  • Produce monthly management accounts in group format, comparing to budget and previous years. This includes divisional profit and loss reports for three divisions.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify potential cost reductions and measure the company’s financial performance based on financial records.
  • Perform duties related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Working closely with the sales team
  • Ensure intercompany accounts are managed and maintained accurately.
 

To be a good fit for the Financial Accounting Analyst Role, you will have:
 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting or Financial Management
  • Experience with Accounting ERP platforms - Ideally SAP Business One but other platforms will be accepted
  • Strong knowledge and understand best practices in GL
  • Experience with AP and AR
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Native with the Polish language
  • Fluent in English
  • Independent, flexible, and proactive working style with the ability to manage workload peaks.
