IT Manager - Hybrid in Warsaw

We are seeking for one of Our Clients an experienced IT Manager to lead the technology landscape across the European entities. This role goes beyond strategy - you will be deeply involved in designing, implementing, and optimizing our infrastructure and business systems. You will partner with the business while remaining close to the technology stack, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing IT operations that support our B2B and B2C growth ambitions.
Location: Warsaw or nearby (with travel to Romania, Poland, UK, Germany, Italy, Denmark and other locations as required)
Your tasks will include:
- Acting as both strategic leader and technical owner, balancing long-term direction with hands-on delivery.
- Working directly with business stakeholders across Europe to translate needs into practical IT solutions and implementations.
- Supporting and executing global IT strategy in alignment with Corporate IT, ensuring local delivery and adoption. Personally leading key IT initiatives, including system rollouts, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Managing and actively engaging with external vendors, ensuring technical quality, delivery, and accountability.
- Owning and actively managing the Microsoft ecosystem, including:
Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune), Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity), Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD / Entra ID) - Designing, implementing, and maintaining hybrid cloud architecture.
- Leading migrations to cloud-first solutions, including tenant optimization and consolidation.
- Configuring and optimizing:
Identity and access management (IAM, Conditional Access, MFA), Endpoint management (Intune / device policies), Backup and disaster recovery solutions - Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues when needed—remaining close to operational details.
- Overseeing and actively supporting the operation and improvement of ERP (SAP B1) and CRM platforms.
- Participating in configuration, integrations, and enhancements, not just governance.
- Driving automation and integration projects across systems using Microsoft-native tools (Power Platform, APIs, etc.).
- Ensuring applications are secure, performant, and aligned with business workflows.
- Building and implementing practical data and reporting solutions using Microsoft tools (Power BI, Azure data services).
- Supporting business teams with data model optimization.
- Implementing and operating Microsoft security stack.
- Personally overseeing and participating in incident response and remediation.
- Defining and executing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Ensuring full compliance with GDPR and internal policies through practical controls and audits.
- Maintaining and improving networking, cloud, and on-premise infrastructure.
- Ensuring availability, performance, and cost optimization of IT services.
- Standardizing IT environments across countries.
- Supporting and guiding IT team members, while remaining directly involved in key technical activities.
To be a good fit for the IT Manager role you will have:
- 6+ years of experience in IT, with a strong hands-on infrastructure and systems background.
- Proven experience working directly with:
Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, Hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-premise), Cybersecurity operations and tools, Networking and cloud architecture, GDPR and compliance frameworks - Solid experience supporting and configuring ERP/CRM systems
- Technical depth and execution capability
- Relevant certifications such as: Microsoft (Azure Administrator, Security, or Architect), Cybersecurity certifications, Cloud technologies
- Leadership Style
- A player-coach mindset: leads by doing, not only delegating.
- Comfortable switching between strategy discussions and hands-on technical work.
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate technical topics into business impact.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.
- Very good English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of SAP B1
- Previous leadership experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field
