Our client is a fast-growing, agile international consulting firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. They've been focusing on optimizing processes centricity and technology. One of the many areas they are focusing on is to design and implement next generation activities- reformulating operating models, optimising processes and installing automation.
Join us in leading a pivotal IT implementation project, where you'll champion data governance, integrity, and quality management. Bring your deep expertise in data management to the table and configure ServiceNow to meet the complex needs of large-scale organizations. We’re looking for a data specialist who thrives on developing governance frameworks, setting data standards, and driving data consistency throughout the project.
Your tasks will include:
- Craft and execute dynamic data governance frameworks to ensure data remains accurate, consistent, and trustworthy.
- Design and uphold robust data standards, classifications, and policies that align seamlessly with organizational goals.
- Pinpoint key data metrics and KPIs to monitor and elevate data quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define data configurations, workflows, and structures that bolster strong data management practices.
- Dive into configuring data management features within ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with project needs and industry best practices.
- Lead the charge in integrating ServiceNow data with other systems, guaranteeing seamless data flow and reducing redundancy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to bring data management requirements to life, ensuring they're both understood and effectively implemented.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and create clear documentation on data standards, processes, and governance frameworks to keep the team in compliance.
- Team up with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to tackle data-related risks and align on data goals for success.
- Proactively identify and tackle data-related risks, dependencies, and issues, crafting solutions to mitigate potential project impacts.
- Continuously review and evaluate data management processes, suggesting enhancements to boost data quality and streamline operations.
To be a good fit for the Data SME role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 7+ years of experience as Data Subject Matter Expert
- 5 year of experience across 3-4 projects on ServiceNow especially on the ITSM module.
- Experience in data governance, data quality, and lifecycle management.

- Expert knowledge of data management practices within ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in data governance tools and data quality monitoring techniques.
