Database Administrator - Remote in Poland

Our Client is a cloud communication provider that offers users the ability to access and manage communications services over the internet.  They provide reliable, efficient and secure connections for customers. They also offer enhanced features such as scalability, high availability to ensure uninterrupted communication services. 

The Poland office is a centre of excellence established to optimize engineering process efficiency.

You will be working in a backend team and you will be responsible for designing and architecting the database platform. You will be responsible for the database automation, monitoring, designing and tuning in the Cloud.

Your tasks will include:

• Performance investigation and problem solving
• Database tuning and query performance
• Being responsible for architecture and implementation of high availability strategies
• Providing a stable, secure data platform which is scalable and accessible to engineering teams to develop and provide services to improve the customers' experience

To be a good fit for the Database Administrator role, you will have:

• Several years of experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Experience with installation, upgrades, tuning and replication
• Experience with relational database operations
• Experience with Cloud, AWS preferred
• Great communication skills
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience with nny other database or messaging technology as DynamoDB or other
