Our client is a fast-growing, agile international consulting firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. They've been focusing on optimizing processes centricity and technology. One of the many areas they are focusing on is to design and implement next generation activities- reformulating operating models, optimising processes and installing automation.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst that can play a key role in shaping the future of the construction industry! You'll dive into budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting while working on impactful, real-world projects. We’re looking for someone with a solid background in construction or similar sectors and hands-on experience with financial ERP systems.

Your tasks will include:

• Drive financial success for construction projects by managing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize performance.
• Dive deep into cost structures, project expenditures, and profitability to deliver insights that fuel smarter decision-making.
• Create and present impactful financial reports and dashboards, giving senior management the tools to strategize with confidence.
• Harness the power of ERP financial systems like DATEV, Maconomy, Unit4, and Tagetik to streamline data management and reporting.
• Partner closely with project managers and the finance team to enhance financial efficiency and collaboration.
• Play a key role in month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring financial data is accurate, reliable, and ready for action.

To be a good fit for the Financial Analyst role, you will have:

• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 1-2 years working in dynamic sectors like construction, engineering, infrastructure, or environmental services.
• Hands-on expertise with financial ERP systems (DATEV, Maconomy, Unit4, Tagetik, or similar)
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
• Master of Excel and skilled in financial reporting tools, ensuring data works for you, not the other way around.
• Confident, clear communicator who can translate complex financial data into insights anyone can understand
